Interlibrary loan (ILL) provides current students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to obtain books, journal articles, and other resource materials which are not available through the library's collections. ILL allows the library to supplement its collections and enhance research opportunities. The maximum number of books that may be requested via ILL depends upon your status. See the Borrowing & Renewing page for more information. Before submitting an ILL request, carefully check existing resources on the library website.
Note: Processing and shipping times vary. Most books can be obtained within about two weeks and most articles can be obtained within about one week. Interlibrary loan offices are CLOSED evenings and weekends. Requests are reviewed and processed only during regular business hours.
Generally, materials are provided to the user at no cost. Some lending libraries may require a fee for items requested and the ILL staff will communicate with you in such instances.
Individuals failing to retrieve items borrowed from another library after 7 days will be charged a $5.00 fee in addition to any lending charges. ILL borrowing privileges will be suspended until payment is made.
In most instances, a link to request items via interlibrary loan will be present in the database. In cases where no ILL request link or form is available, please use one of the forms below.
