The second floor of the library houses a computer lab for library users. The lab comprises 20 thin client computing stations. Each station is equipped with a 19" LCD color monitor, wired keyboard, wired mouse, and the thin client box, which provides two USB ports. Programs available on each computer include the Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, etc.), Acrobat Reader, Internet browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE), and media players (Windows Media and QuickTime). Basic technical assistance is available at the information desk in the computer lab.
Print jobs are directed to printers at the circulation desk near the main entrance of the library, where they may be retrieved and paid for. The costs of printing are
Be sure to use the print preview options in programs to avoid printing mistakes as you are responsible to pay for all print jobs, even those you do not want. Also be careful to select the appropriate printer (black and white or color) before submitting print jobs.
Print jobs must be submitted 15 minutes prior to closing as the printers are powered down 15 minutes before the library closes.
A black and white copier is available for use across from the circulation desk. Copies are $0.10 per page. The machine uses a coin box. Change may be made at the circulation desk.
